YOUR CASE.
MY CALLING.
Never should a client become just another file number in a law office. For over 30 years, I have subscribed to this principle, representing a diverse range of clients in nearly all areas of civil law and litigation. I had both the blessing and privilege of beginning my legal career working for high-powered Manhattan attorney, Aaron Richard Golub. I spent several years at Richard’s firm advocating for prominent figures in the New York business, arts, and entertainment industries in both litigation and transactional contexts, as well as matters relating to divorce and family law.
In 2001, I moved to Menaker & Herrmann, a boutique law firm in midtown Manhattan. There I represented architects, engineers, project management companies, and financiers in a broad variety of business and construction disputes. I also handled disputes relating to commercial leases around Manhattan and legal work in the securities industry.
After starting a family, I returned to my Louisiana roots in 2004, resuming my career at Metairie-based Dwyer & Cambre, practicing commercial litigation, real estate, collections, and construction disputes. I emerged to head the litigation department in that firm before establishing Davis & Duncan, LLC in 2008. There I represented individuals and small businesses in both litigation and advisory capacities while expanding further into family law, estate planning, and successions. In 2017, I started my solo practice, continuing to represent individuals and small companies in the business and family law arenas.
I remain committed to the same standards of excellence and precision instilled in me from my early years practicing law, and most importantly, attentiveness to my client’s situation and needs. I look forward to serving you.
